
The potential of creating positive societal impact is maximised through the interplay of our different portfolios. When we are seeking transformational change, we acknowledge/realise that we are part of a knowledge system, in which achieving impact is a deliberative action and in which activities start from the change envisaged. This chapter is dedicated to the initiatives and projects that are an embodiment of our societally responsible and civically engaged profile which aims for transformative change. These initiatives and projects, including the LDE collaboration, Convergence, UNIC, Cultuur&Campus and many (smaller) collaborations with the municipality of Rotterdam, involve many different stakeholders, operate via the three core portfolios, and are essential to becoming an impact driven university.
